What is a Giclee?
'Giclee' pronounced (ghee-clay) is derived from the french work 'gicleur' meaning 'nozzle'. Giclee is the verb 'to spray' as from a nozzle and thus the object of a spraying nozzle would be the giclee.

This state of the art printing system utilized patented technology with unprecedented versatility, a large colour palette and increased tonal range. Each of the inks are ejected from a nozzle aperture approximately ¼ the diameter of a human hair.

More a mist than a spray, the printer applies some 11 million droplets of ink per square inch. Because the dots overlap, the result is a continuous tone image. These quality fine art prints will provide the collector with the confidence of owning giclees that will stand the test of time in colour fidelity and intensity.
